Scott Bergstein, COO of GVA Oxford; Vice President of Operating Businesses, maintains both service and administrative responsibilities at Oxford.  On the service side, Mr. Bergstein serves as Chief Operating Officer of GVA Oxford, the company’s office and industrial leasing and brokerage division, which, over the last five years has transacted nearly a billion dollars in real estate transactions. In this role, Mr. Bergstein has the privilege as serving as real estate advisor to such national firms as the H.J. Heinz Company and Hilb Rogal & Hobbs, Inc.  Over the last three years, he has represented tenants in transactions ranging from 25,000 to 300,000 square feet in such markets as Richmond, VA, New York City, Atlanta, GA, Philadelphia, PA, and Pittsburgh, PA.

Other responsibilities of Mr. Bergstein include oversight of several of Oxford’s operating businesses such as the Radisson Hotel Pittsburgh, the ExpoMart exposition center, the Oxford Athletic Clubs, and the Racquet Club Apartments.  In addition, Mr. Bergstein is responsible for the risk management program for Oxford’s real estate, business operations, and human resources.  A graduate of Penn State University, Colorado State University, and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, he has been involved in commercial real estate since 1981.  Mr. Bergstein holds memberships in the Pennsylvania Bar, the Risk & Insurance Management Society, is a current member of the Watson Institute Board of Trustees and the National Kidney Foundation Board of Directors.
